In short

Saudia Incorp Pharmacy E-commerce gives a licensed pharmacy its own online store and delivery ordering. Customers browse over-the-counter and personal-care products, upload a prescription for prescription-only items so a pharmacist can review it before anything is dispensed, and choose delivery or pickup from a branch that has stock, while stock, batches and expiry dates stay in sync with the pharmacy POS.

Pharmacy E-commerce Solution

Online store and delivery ordering for licensed pharmacies: prescription upload with pharmacist review, batch and expiry control, and branch stock in one system.

Prescription review

Customers upload a prescription; a pharmacist approves or rejects it with notes, and prescription-only items can't ship without approval.

Batch & expiry control

First-expiry-first-out picking, near-expiry alerts, and expired batches blocked from sale.

Branch availability

Orders go to the nearest branch with stock, with click-and-collect as an option.

Delivery management

Your own drivers or a courier, with a flag for temperature-sensitive items.

One stock with the POS

Counter sales and online orders share one stock count per branch.

Customer updates

Order status and refill reminders on WhatsApp or SMS.

How it works

Daily operating procedure

  1. 1

    Publish the catalogue

Products sync from the pharmacy POS with prices and stock; you mark which items are prescription-only.

  2. 2

    Customer orders

The customer adds products to the cart, uploads a prescription where it is required, and chooses delivery or branch pickup.

  3. 3

    Pharmacist reviews

A pharmacist checks the prescription and approves or rejects it with a note; prescription-only items stay on hold until approved.

  4. 4

    Pick by expiry

The branch picks the order first-expiry-first-out, scans each batch, and the order is invoiced with an e-invoice.

  5. 5

    Deliver or hand over

A driver delivers the order, with temperature-sensitive items flagged, or the customer collects it from the branch.

  6. 6

    Keep the customer informed

The customer gets status updates and, for repeat products, a refill reminder on WhatsApp or SMS.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about compliance, pricing and migration.

Can we sell prescription medicines online?+
Only within what your licences allow. Online pharmacy activity in Saudi Arabia needs the required regulatory licences; the system enforces pharmacist review for items you mark as prescription-only, but it does not replace a licence.
Does it handle near-expiry stock?+
Yes. Picking follows first-expiry-first-out, near-expiry items are flagged, and expired batches cannot be sold online or at the counter.
Is Saudia Incorp compliant with ZATCA Phase 2 (the integration phase)?+
Yes. Each POS device is onboarded with ZATCA's Fatoora portal using a CSID. Invoices are signed, carry the required QR code and UUID, and are cleared (B2B) or reported (B2C) automatically. You can see the status of every invoice in the ZATCA screen.
How is 15% VAT handled?+
VAT is calculated on every line, shown on the receipt as required, and summarised in a return that matches the ZATCA portal boxes. Zero-rated and exempt items are supported.
