Daily operating procedure

    Open the shift

    The cashier signs in and enters the opening cash. The register works on Windows, Android tablets, iPad or Sunmi/iMin terminals.

    Bill the sale

    Add items by barcode, search or the touch grid. Keyboard shortcuts keep checkout under five seconds.

    Take any payment

    Accept cash, mada, Visa/Mastercard, Apple Pay, STC Pay, Tabby, Tamara or a split payment.

    Issue the e-invoice

    Each sale produces a signed ZATCA Phase 2 invoice with a QR code, reported to Fatoora automatically.

    Keep selling offline

    If the internet drops, the register keeps selling and syncs sales and invoices when it reconnects.

What is the difference between a POS system and cashier software?+
None in practice. Cashier software (برنامج كاشير) is the common Saudi term for a POS system: the screen and software that rings up a sale, takes payment and issues the invoice. A modern POS also manages stock, customers and reports.
Is there a free version?+
There is no free-forever plan. Before you pay, we set up a free demo sandbox with your own products so you can test real invoices, payments and reports. Monthly plans are listed on the pricing page.
Which hardware do I need?+
Any Windows PC, Android tablet or iPad plus a receipt printer. We supply and configure bundles on request.
Is it ZATCA Phase 2 (integration) compliant?+
Yes. Your device is onboarded with ZATCA's Fatoora portal, invoices are signed, and reporting/clearance happens automatically.
Is Saudia Incorp compliant with ZATCA Phase 2 (the integration phase)?+
Yes. Each POS device is onboarded with ZATCA's Fatoora portal using a CSID. Invoices are signed, carry the required QR code and UUID, and are cleared (B2B) or reported (B2C) automatically. You can see the status of every invoice in the ZATCA screen.
How is 15% VAT handled?+
VAT is calculated on every line, shown on the receipt as required, and summarised in a return that matches the ZATCA portal boxes. Zero-rated and exempt items are supported.
