Daily operating procedure
- 1
Open the lane
The cashier signs in, enters the opening cash float and the shift starts. The till loads current prices, promotions and stock from the cloud.
- 2
Scan and weigh
Packaged items are scanned by barcode; fruit, vegetables and deli items come pre-weighed with a scale label, and the price-embedded barcode is read automatically.
- 3
Apply offers automatically
Active promotions (buy-X-get-Y, bundles, time-boxed deals) apply at the till. Expired batches are blocked from sale and the cashier is alerted.
- 4
Take payment
The customer pays by cash, mada, Apple Pay or a split. The till prints or sends a simplified tax invoice with the ZATCA QR code, reported to ZATCA within 24 hours.
- 5
Receive and replenish
Supplier deliveries are received against the purchase order with batch and expiry dates. Items that fall below their minimum level appear on the suggested reorder list.
- 6
Close the shift
The cashier counts the drawer, the system shows any difference, and the X/Z report goes to the manager. Sales from every lane are already in one stock count.
